Unleashing the team

Everyone knows that feeling of working and achieving with a team of great people. It isn’t about everyone agreeing all the time. It is about everyone committing to the team and its success without egos getting in the way.
The reality is rarely this frictionless ideal . . .
However, people often don’t understand the true reason why.
RTTA has developed a new way of analysing individual interactions based on how team members assess their expertise and influence within the team. Even slight individual over-estimation of influence or expertise can impose on other team members and cause friction. This friction creates an unstable situation.
Without understanding or intervention this friction often remains unresolved. Other team members shrink from interactions, lose effectiveness and some even leave the team. The situation becomes stable but sub-optimal.
MASTERING INTERACTIONS
Without the appropriate insight, the overview is hidden. Only individual interactions are visible. The limited view makes it easy to miss the root problem.
By using a series of “discovery” modules, we guide the group to examine common situations in a different way. This gives a new level of understanding of regular human interactions. And that, in turn, leads to an insight into how the subtle but very wasteful competition takes place in many teams. For most people, this new view is truly eye opening.
In our workshops, individual, real life examples provided by the attendees are discussed. This gives the participants direct feedback on how to address any dynamic in their team.
The new perspective gives the whole team the understanding to correctly assess the situation and the tools to approach the dynamic in a sensitive and diplomatic but proactive way.
A way that doesn’t just manage the symptoms and the stress of the friction but solves the underlying problem.
Business has never been more competitive, and success doesn’t come just from a group of friends having a great time: Skills and intellect still matter. And people with skills and intellect are hard to replace.
However, highly skilled people often come with baggage. Sometimes highly capable, hard to replace people come with a highly competitive nature that leads to competition within the team.
RTTA training allows you to keep those hard to replace people while effectively addressing those individual behaviours that need to be replaced.
